DESCRIPTION:
As an Executive Assistant at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll support senior leadership in their mission to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. You'll be working within the Customer Channels Group (CCG), a vital division of Thermo Fisher Scientific that focuses on enhancing customer experience and driving sales across various markets. CCG plays a crucial role in connecting our innovative products and services with customers in healthcare, life sciences, and other industries.
In this role, you'll contribute to CCG's success by providing high-level support to key executives, including the Vice President of Human Resources and the Vice President of Operations. Your work will directly impact CCG's ability to streamline operations, improve customer engagement, and drive growth in the healthcare market.
You'll serve as a trusted partner to executives, managing complex calendars, coordinating travel, and ensuring seamless communication across the organization. Your exceptional organizational abilities, discretion, and proactive approach will be crucial in managing confidential information and handling multiple high-priority tasks. You'll collaborate with teams, coordinate meetings and events, and manage special projects to completion.
By supporting CCG leadership, you'll contribute to initiatives that enhance our customer-centric approach, optimize our sales channels, and ultimately help deliver life-changing solutions to our clients in the healthcare sector. This role requires someone who remains composed while delivering outstanding administrative support that enables executives to focus on strategic priorities and drive CCG's mission forward.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma required. Minimum of 5 years of executive administrative experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of executive assistant experience supporting senior leadership, preferably in a global corporate environment.
- Preferred Fields of Study: Business, Secretarial Science, or related field
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams)
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple competing priorities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with impeccable attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization
- Experience coordinating complex international travel and managing visa requirements
- Proven experience working independently to solve problems creatively
- Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative in a dynamic environment
- Flexibility to provide occasional support outside standard business hours
- Proficiency with expense reporting systems (e.g. Concur)
- Experience in calendar management across multiple time zones
- Strong project management and event planning capabilities
- Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
