Job Description
This position will be responsible for promoting Eurofins Discovery Biotherapeutics Services globally and ensures study design, execution and reporting align with client project specifications. This role will support commercial, customer support, and operations teams in project management in addition to supporting the global Biotherapeutics strategy. The candidate will work with the Eurofins Discovery Team to achieve productivity targets. The position’s primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain relationships with companies focused on large molecule discovery and effectively drive new and existing opportunities for the Eurofins Discovery Biotherapeutics business.
Study Director, Biotherapeutics Responsibilities & Duties Include but are not Limited to the Following:
- Develops and maintains client and stakeholder relationships through technical leadership and collaboration, including regular meetings, both face-to-face and virtual
- Manages client projects in all phases of study life cycle from study design to reporting
- Ensures regulatory compliance and quality assurance of client studies
- Supports portfolio strategy, new growth areas and global innovation projects
- Contributes to portfolio, pricing and product management team by developing content for services catalog, external marketing, and brand awareness
- Provides technical leadership to lab operations, business development and marketing team
- Supports client services team in generating proposals, RFPs, study plans and scope of work preparation. Assists pricing team in completing custom pricing and cost analysis
- Provides technical leadership in reviewing project reports, assuring accuracy and timely delivery of projects
- Supports laboratory team, and may conduct experiments at the bench, in a lab setting to support client projects, R&D, training, and troubleshooting
- Responsible for promotion of Eurofins Discovery Biotherapeutic services where applicable
- Supports the global Biotherapeutics business development strategy
- Works with members of the sales team and operations to drive business
- Performs other duties as assigned, example: attend trade shows, present capabilities
- Ability to travel approximately 25%
- Use CRM to log client meetings and significant calls as well as for the tracking of opportunities
- Complete expense reports per policy
- Able to provide management with client overviews
Qualifications
Basic Minimum Education Requirements:
- M.A. or M.S. with a minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Ph.D. with a minimum of 1 year relevant experience
- Or an equivalent of education and laboratory experience
Basic Minimum Work Requirements
- A minimum education of an advanced degree in Immunology, Molecular Biology, or similar Life Science degree with demonstrated experience in large molecule discovery
- Excellent knowledge of the drug development process particularly for Biotherapeutics
- Understanding of lab processes utilized in large molecule drug discovery to be able to design work plans appropriately.
- Exceptional organization, negotiation and communication skills.
- Valid Driver’s license
- Located in or near Saint Charles, MO and ability to travel up to 25% time in support of driving business to meet business objectives.
- Ability to do occasional international travel
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Position is full-time working Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of St. Charles, MO are encouraged to apply.
