A position is available for licensed School Psychologists to support students in both secondary and elementary educational settings in Harrisburg, PA. This role offers the opportunity to engage in meaningful assessments and evaluations with a focus on special education needs, while supporting students academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct special education evaluations and re-evaluations at the high school level.
- Perform manifestation determination reviews (MDRs) as part of secondary duties.
- Participate in student-centered meetings related to evaluations.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure accurate and timely assessments.
- Maintain clear documentation in compliance with school protocols.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Certified School Psychologist credential is required.
- Previous experience in school psychology is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and evaluation procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Effective communication skills with students, families, and educators.
Work Schedule & Location:
- Hours at the high school: 7:20 AM 2:50 PM.
- Elementary work split between two buildings with hours from 8:35 AM 4:05 PM.
- Hybrid work schedule with primarily in-person duties and the option for virtual work one day per week.
- Location: Central Dauphin High School and elementary schools in the Harrisburg, PA area.
Additional Information
- The school provides all necessary equipment, including laptops and testing materials.
- Immediate start available through the end of the school year.
- Interview scheduling preference is mornings between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM.
