Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Create and monitor effective behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
Qualifications And Experience
- Active Tennessee Department of Education Certification as a School Psychologist
- Ability to complete required fingerprinting for credentialing purposes
- Experience working with elementary-age students (K-5) preferred
- Strong understanding of psychological assessments, behavior management, and special education processes
- Ability to manage caseloads and multi-school assignments efficiently
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week; part-time applicants will not be considered
- Position begins as soon as possible through May 21, 2026
- Located in Chattanooga, TN with minor travel requirements between assigned schools
