Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Creedmoor, NC for a General Counsel. The General Counsel will oversee and manage all legal aspects of the company, including providing legal advice across all departments, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing corporate governance, and addressing labor and employment matters. Core responsibilities will include crafting legal strategies, handling contracts, providing guidance on data privacy, and mitigating potential legal risks while aligning decisions with the company's goals and values.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Legal Issues and providing sound Legal Advice
- Strong knowledge and experience in Labor and Employment Law
- Proficiency in Data Privacy regulations and compliance
- Familiarity with Corporate Governance and organizational policies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and membership in a state bar (required)
- Proven track record in handling legal functions within a corporate setting
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
