Purpose & Responsibilities Of Position
The Project Management Intern will have the opportunity to learn more project management methodology, lean manufacturing methodology, an overview of the manufacturing process/equipment, and reliability/sustainability initiatives for the site
- Generate comprehensive file of key equipment across all buildings and list of existing/future projects to provide framework for long term sustainability initiatives
- Generate template for project meeting meetings, project schedules, project presentations, and other project documents
- Upload presentations from trainings, create calendar of activities, tools and templates of Lean Manufacturing from websites and create central folders in shared drive
- Support Shutdown Activities during planning, execution and area release
- Compile all project information of GB projects into standard template for prioritization
- Organize Shutdown and various Project Teams folders and format of teams for better user access
- Work with Associate Director of Project Management to assist with meeting minutes, meeting follow-up and other project tasks as needed
- Work with Director of Operational Excellence to assist with other unplanned activities/projects as needed
Skills/Qualifications/Education Requirements: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Candidate must be currently enrolled in 4 year degree program pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or Scientific field (Biology/Chemistry preferred) as rising junior or senior OR currently accepted or enrolled in Master’s or PhD program
- Candidate must currently have GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Familiarity/comfort with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Visio and PowerPoint
- Training/experience with Project Management is preferred but not required

, California is $18 to 20 per hour. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on education, experience, skillset, knowledge, where the role is performed, internal equity and market data.
