The Role
The Global Kitting Operations Co-op will support Moderna’s Global Kitting Operations team in the planning, documentation, and execution of clinical kitting operations. This role is designed for a professional eager to learn about supply chain operations in a fast-paced, regulated biotech environment.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help ensure the accuracy, visibility, and efficiency of kitting operations while developing skills in project management, data analysis, and collaboration.
You will gain hands-on experience in fast paced clinical development operation, explore innovative applications of generative AI, and assist with process improvement initiatives. This position will run from July 13th-December 11th, 2026. You must be available for the full duration of the program.
Here’s What You’ll Do
- Support SharePoint design and maintenance: Assist with building, organizing, and updating team sites and libraries to improve information access and collaboration.
- Leverage ChatGPT and digital tools: Partner with team members to explore cases for generative AI, such as drafting process documents, summarizing reports, or creating templates.
- Assist with process improvement projects: Help document workflows, create process maps, and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Data entry and reporting: Track kit status, supply levels, and performance metrics in Smartsheet/Excel, helping prepare reports for team review.
- Documentation and compliance support: Ensure operational documents are organized, accurate, and stored according to standards.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Participate in meetings with study teams, clinical operations, and vendors to learn how kit logistics supports clinical trials.
- Ad hoc tasks and learning opportunities: Contribute to other projects and assignments that provide exposure to clinical supply chain operations.
- Additional duties may be assigned from time to time
Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications)
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s program (Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, or related field).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, systems, and processes.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with Smartsheet or SharePoint a plus.
- Interest in process improvement and emerging technologies (e.g., AI).
- Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with diverse teams.

The salary range for this role is $20.00 - $60.00. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An individual’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, and business or organizational needs. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, other incentive compensation, or equity award, subject to company plan eligibility criteria and individual performance.
