What You Get To Do
SCADA Technician I will ensure that all tasks and job duties are completed as scheduled to facilitate a successful timely startup of the project and various subsystems at the customer site.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
Office:
- Semi-independent preparation of projects as an initial stage of project implementation
- Responsible for programing and configuration of SCADA software packages
- Train customers on SCADA technology and support commissioners through provision of feedback and collective troubleshooting
- Align with supervisor and collateral others to ensure daily processes are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Coordinate with commissioners to remotely test relevant signals
On-site:
- Abide by all KNAPP safety guidelines and regulations
- Align with supervisor and collateral others to ensure daily processes are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Train customers and maintenance team on SCADA technology
- Coordinate daily job duties at the customer site with all involved parties, the customer and internal departments
- Coordinate with commissioners to test relevant signals while on customer site
What You Have
- Entry level general computer skills
- Entry level Linux skills
- Entry level HTML, CSS, Python, Java Script, C++
- Entry level SCADA, OPC, Atvise, SQL concept
- Entry level networking concept
- Entry level electrical concept
- Entry level PLC and subsystems understanding
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
Working Conditions and Environment:
- Travel is required as follows:
- 50-60% travel if traveling to the customer site or
- 20% travel or less if relocating or local to the customer site
- Professional office etiquette is required at all times
- Physical requirements may include:
- sitting, stooping, bending, visual acuity, finger dexterity, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Passport or ability to obtain passport
