We’re seeking a Summer Intern to support internal communications and employee experience initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of communications, engagement, and people programs, and will partner with the wider Human Resources team to improve how employees stay informed, connected, and supported. The intern will contribute to a set of scoped priorities over the summer aligned to business needs and the intern’s skills and interests.
What You’ll Do
- Support routine internal communications planning and execution (messaging, content development, and channel support)
- Help improve employee-facing resources, processes, and program communications
- Gather input through light research (interviews, surveys, audits, benchmarking), and translate findings into recommendations
- Develop practical tools and materials (templates, guides, FAQs, talking points, summaries, simple playbooks)
What We’re Looking For
- Strong writing, editing, and organization skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to tailor content to different audiences and contexts
- Interest in communications, employee experience, HR, and/or corporate learning and development
- Collaborative working style and comfort partnering across teams
- Ability to manage deadlines and take ownership of deliverables
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint) or similar tools
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe CC)
- Background or coursework in communications, human resources, journalism, or marketing
Nice to have
- Comfort with basic data analysis (e.g., surveys, engagement metrics, or simple reporting)
- Understanding of responsible AI use, including good judgment around confidentiality, accuracy, and attribution
