Summary
Responsible for applying technical knowledge of manufacturing operations and business objectives to lead and execute manufacturing engineering tasks. Takes ownership of complex assignments involving multiple interrelated elements. Anticipates and identifies technical issues, recommends solutions where precedent may not exist, and applies creative problem-solving while considering system-wide impact. Participates in peer reviews to validate technical approach and verification/validation activities.
Primary Focus
Support design change projects with emphasis on Design Master Record (DMR) documentation including labels, drawings, and specification sheets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute manufacturing engineering tasks
- Create and maintain DMR documentation
- Review and interpret technical drawings
- Collaborate with third-party suppliers
- Work with Quality, Regulatory, and Global Service & Support
- Execute project deliverables of varying complexity
Required Qualifications
- BS or BE in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or related Engineering discipline
- 0–3 years of experience
- Understanding of manufacturing operations and business objectives
- Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve technical issues independently
- Ability to apply new methods and creative solutions
- Familiarity with technical drawings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
