As a
Manager, Warehouse & Logistics you will lead the safe, efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouses for Packaging Services – owning warehousing and distribution, inventory movement and cycle counts, inbound/outbound flow, waste and recycling programs, and ongoing system and process improvements while guiding a team of direct reports.
What You’ll Be Accountable For
- Warehouse Operations: Lead safe, efficient receiving, storage, inventory handling, and outbound shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
- People Leadership: Hire, coach, schedule, train, and manage performance while building a capable, accountable warehouse team.
- Inventory Control: Own inventory accuracy through ERP transactions, movements, and cycle counts across all products and supplies.
- Safety & Compliance: Uphold Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality, MOE, and MTO requirements through audits, training, and documentation. Work with supervisors to complete Health and Safety hazard assessments.
- Freight & Logistics: Accountable to arrange inbound and outbound freight requirements, manage carriers, and oversee domestic and international shipments.
- Production Enablement: Ensure materials are available and delivered to meet daily production plans and operational priorities.
- Process & Systems Improvement: Improve warehouse layouts, workflows, and systems to enhance efficiency, traceability, and cost control.
- Space & Equipment Planning: Optimize warehouse space and arrange material‑handling equipment to support operational needs.
- Performance Management: Track shipping and receiving metrics, investigate losses or damage, and drive corrective action.
- Partnership & Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers, customers, and third‑party logistics partners, and oversee shipments to customers in Canada and internationally.
What You’ll Bring
- Diploma or a degree in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse leadership.
- Subject matter expert of operations, warehouse management, and transportation management.
- Experience using ERP systems to manage inventory transactions and accuracy.
- Knowledge of WHMIS and workplace safety systems.
- Forklift license and a valid driver’s license.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively across teams and leadership levels.
- Clear documentation and writing skills for compliant warehouse records.
- Team-building mindset with strong planning and resource allocation skills.
- Experience with SAP, Lean, Six Sigma (considered an asset).
- Experience with RFID, bar code systems, and EDI (considered an asset).
- Experience managing third-party logistics providers (considered an asset).

Total Rewards
We’re offering a competitive compensation in the range of $90,000 – $112,000 per year. Pay will be determined based on factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
