A full-time Educational Diagnostician position is available in the New Caney, TX area, serving primarily one elementary school with occasional support at other nearby schools. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week and is set to begin as soon as possible through the end of the school year.
Ideal candidates will have experience in educational diagnostics, with a preference for professionals who can immediately contribute and manage assessments independently. New graduates are also encouraged to apply if they possess extensive practical experience with related educational evaluations. Both monolingual and bilingual (Spanish-speaking) applicants are welcomed, reflecting the diverse student population in surrounding communities.
Responsibilities Include
- Conducting comprehensive educational assessments to identify student strengths and areas of need
- Collaborating with educators and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment data
- Providing clear, detailed reports and recommendations regarding student learning profiles and eligibility for special services
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting plans as necessary to support academic success
Qualified Candidates Should Have
- Relevant certification/licensure as an Educational Diagnostician
