We are seeking a full-time Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible for achieving the financial targets of the Western US region within the Acute Care Division of Capsa Healthcare. This position requires an understanding of and ability to execute strategies relating to regional management, account management, relationship development, solution selling, sales channel management, and strategic growth plans.
This position will be based in the Western U.S. (preference will be given to candidates residing in So Cal, NV, UT, AZ & NM).
As a Regional Sales Manager, your contributions to the team will include:
- Responsible for the assigned sales region as an advocate for Capsa’s portfolio of products, services, and solutions to ensure sustainable sales growth and execute sales plans to meet financial objectives.
- Work to increase Capsa’s presence within key integrated Delivery Networks (IDN’s) and other healthcare markets; leverage key decision makers by providing comprehensive product and service solutions.
- Requires extensive travel within the assigned region to participate in sales events/meetings, customer visits, as well as trade shows. RSM must reside within the assigned region.
- Develop monthly and quarterly product forecasts and business plans to achieve (or exceed) pre-defined strategies and financial objectives, identifying top growth targets for the upcoming year.
- Build relationships with regional and national channel partners to expand reach within assigned region; support channel partners with in-field support that includes product training, presentation support, customer visits, administration, and business development activities.
- Regularly and consistently maintain CRM database to include opportunity detail, forecast, and pipeline data.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and trends within the healthcare marketplace.
- Work closely with Sales Support, Strategic Account Directors, and Account Managers to ensure customer experience continuity and consistency.
- Conduct and coordinate product fairs and trials; responsible for the administration, coordination, attendance coverage, in-servicing, and necessary follow-up for each fair/trial.
- Other duties or special projects as assigned.
What we ask of you:
- BS/BA degree preferred
- 3+ years of solution sales experience, preferably with capital equipment in the healthcare industry and in collaboration with channel partner reps, independent reps, direct reps, or distributor reps.
- Experience selling mobile and wall-mounted computing, medication and medical equipment storage solutions is preferred.
- Proven ability to interact with and influence customers in various market segments.
- Strong negotiation skills; Must be able to improvise in customer situations towards a successful resolution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Ability to travel is expected, including occasional overnight stays within the United States and/or abroad. Will require legal travel documentation (passport) for cross-border travel.
