Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates components and processes used in the generation, manipulation, transmission and storage of electricity. Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experiments.
This role is a hybrid position and requires a minimum of three days per week in our Holtsville, NY office (Mon., Tue., Thur.). Zebra reserves the right to modify your work location based on business need.
Responsibilities:
- Establishes requirements for less complex design projects
- Works on Completing all phases of Electrical engineering design projects
- Works on analysis of processes and delivers results to necessary stakeholders
- Analyzes results and recommends solutions
- Works on developing expected results on a variety of products
- Develops documentation for new projects and reviews previous results.
- Works with latest technologies and new approaches
- Reviews changes or upgrades to existing designs or test
- Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions on assignments

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirement:
- Electrical Engineering BS degree.
- Read technical documents and report creation.
- Make Power Point presentation of findings.
- Microsoft Office suite skills
- Communication skills - able to clearly define problem, ideas or solutions.
Preferred Requirments:
- Exposure to C, C++, Python in context of embeded systems.
- Exposure to RF testing
- Reasearch Capable
- 1+ years experience in engineering.

Salary: USD 68400.00 - USD 84000.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement.
