An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite support for a PreK through 4th grade school setting. This contract role offers a full-time schedule with approximately 35 hours per week and a contract term ending May 27, 2025. Located in Danville, IL, this position focuses on delivering quality speech therapy services directly within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Providing speech-language pathology services to students from PreK to 4th grade
- Collaborating with educational staff to design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders
- Maintaining detailed documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Participating in meetings with parents and educators as needed
Qualifications
- Masters Degree or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure for practice in Illinois
- ISLBE (Illinois State Board of Education) endorsement is required
- Experience with telespeech or teletherapy services is beneficial but not mandatory
