A licensed and certified School Psychologist opportunity is available in Montpelier, VT, serving elementary, middle, and high school students. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Provide counseling and support to students facing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges
- Use data-driven approaches to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives aimed at improving student outcomes
Qualifications
- Current school psychologist license and certification
- Experience working within elementary, middle, and high school environments
- Strong knowledge of child development, learning disabilities, and mental health issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in working with students, families, and school personnel
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a contract role
