Area: Mobile, AL
Licensure Requirements: Must have open, active, and in good standing AL Pharmacist License
Education: Pharm. D.
Experience Needed: 1 year in similar setting
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: $124,800-$135,200 DOE
Background/ Drug Requirements: Ability to successfully complete background check, health and drug screen
Sterile Compounding Pharmacist
Job Responsibilities:
- Verify compounded and non-compounded prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and regulatory compliance
- Oversee sterile and non-sterile lab operations during overnight hours
- Review compounding records, ensure adherence to aseptic procedures, and maintain quality documentation
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate and timely order processing and shipping
- Maintain compliance with state board, DEA, and USP regulations
- Communicate any necessary follow-ups or issues to the day team
