Reports to: Transportation Manager or Facility Manager

SUMMARY
CDL Class A Line-Haul Driver to ensure all waste collected and transported. The vehicles are decontaminated, and waste is properly staged for scanning and off-loading. The individual will be home nightly as no overnight driving is required. All duties must be performed in a safe and productive manner. The individual must demonstrate the ability to maintain neat and orderly appearance and paperwork, and the ability to operate a smart phone.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hours worked are typically 40 to 45 hours per week, Monday thru Friday
- Drivers will have a dedicated route and transport containers from specific location(s)
- Average weight of a container is 25lbs. Drivers are equipped with a convertible hand truck to dolly heavier or multiple containers from the transfer station to our vehicle for transport to the treatment facility
- Driver will push and pull containers weighing up to 250 pounds
- Drive vehicle to customer location along determined route collecting material for delivery to designated location
- Must follow all safety and compliance regulations
- Attendance and successfully complete all training as required
- Prepare and report Pre & Post trip inspections
- Maintain Driver’s Hours of Service Log as required
- Review and sign manifests and shipping papers
- Customer education, (manifesting, packaging, etc.)
- Properly load and secure materials for transport
- Refuel vehicle as needed
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- CDL Class A License required
- HazMat endorsement required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for a minimum of three years
- Must Pass a DOT physical exam and meet all applicable DOT and licensing requirements
- Must meet minimum company insurability requirements
- Must have excellent customer service skills with other employees, customers and regulators
- Strong written and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Quickly adapt to changing business demands
- Quickly grasp and adapt to new tasks, software and protocols
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
- Able to work an agreed upon standard schedule
- Additional hours as job duties demand
TRAVEL - OTHER
- Travel to domestic Trilogy facilities when necessary (less than 10%)
- Must have a current, valid driver's license
- Able to be insurable under our company's liability insurance policy
