Operations Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Customer Operations function.
Job Summary
This position is responsible for directly supervising a returns staff that are investigating claims and assuring returns are processed for the manufacturers supported by 3PLS’ business.
Responsibilities
- responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the staff, supporting their growth and development within the company.
- Assisting with the management of the manufacturers’ accounts and collaborating with the other 3PLS departments.
- Processing and sending various month-end reporting to both internal and external departments.
- Capability to work from home and come into office as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
- 1-2 years related experience, preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Leadership skills highly preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including excel, outlook, word, and access
- Must live within 1 hour radius of LaVergne, TN.

- Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations, or business support staff
- Develops, administers, and executes policies and procedures while also continuously improving on said policies and procedures
- Ensures employees operate within guidelines
- Decisions have a direct impact on work unit operations and customers
- Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers and peer groups at various management levels
- Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution
- Works collaboratively to respond to non-standard requests under time-sensitive conditions
- Takes the lead in effectively applying and teaching new processes and skills in order to accomplish a wide variety of assignments; this is not limited to the immediate team, but can also apply to cross-functional areas
- Maintaining a professional demeanor when interacting with internal teams as well as external clients
Anticipated salary range: $67,500 - $86,670
