Located in Westfield, MA, this contract position offers an opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work within a high school setting for the current school year (CSY), starting as soon as possible. The role requires providing comprehensive speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 75 students, delivering support that promotes effective communication skills critical for academic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough high school speech and language evaluations.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services tailored to individual student needs.
- Supervise and collaborate with a Speech Assistant to enhance service delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to student progress and evaluations.
- Communicate effectively with educators, families, and support staff to ensure holistic student support.
Desired Skills And Qualifications
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with high school students.
- Proficiency in pediatric speech therapy and teletherapy methods.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience.
- Ability to manage a high caseload effectively.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 7:41 AM to 2:15 PM.
