Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Job Summary
Pharma Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Clerk to support our growing Finance team. This role is responsible for high-volume invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, and ensuring accurate and timely payments in a fast-paced, operationally driven environment.
The ideal candidate is organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable working with large volumes of transactions while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Process and code vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
- Perform 3-way match (Purchase Order, Receipt, Invoice)
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Prepare and execute weekly check runs and ACH payments
- Monitor AP aging and ensure payments are made in accordance with vendor terms
- Maintain vendor records and administer online vendor portals
- Assist with month-end close activities and AP reporting
- Prepare annual 1099 filings
- Manage unclaimed property filings as required
- Support documentation updates including SOPs and SWIs
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations and Purchasing teams
- Perform additional accounting and administrative tasks as assigned
Beneficial Education, Skills And Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Experience in high-volume, multi-entity environments
- Experience with month-end close support
- Prior experience in a regulated or compliance-driven industry
- Experience with vendor negotiations or payment term optimization
- Exposure to inventory-based or warehouse operations
Required Education, Skills And Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred
- 1+ years of Accounts Payable experience preferred
- Experience in high-volume transaction environments
- ERP experience (NetSuite strongly preferred)
- Strong Excel skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
Compensation Range and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $22.00-24.00, per hour. Actual salary may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, Pharma Logistics’ business and organizational needs, as well as an individual’s relevant experience, education, qualifications, certifications, skills, seniority, geographic location, and/or performance.
