Key Responsibilities
- Verify clinician orders and obtain comprehensive patient history.
- Safely administer radiopharmaceuticals following established protocols.
- Conduct diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring high-quality, clinically acceptable studies.
- Prepare and position patients appropriately, maintaining their comfort and dignity.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring operational standards.
- Document procedures accurately and communicate clearly with physicians and team members.
- Assist with departmental training and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Manage inventory and departmental organization to support efficient operations.
Qualifications And Experience
- Graduated from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- ARRT Nuclear Technology (ARRT-N) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification required.
- Minimum of one year clinical experience in nuclear medicine or relevant clinical rotations.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
- Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking and critical thinking abilities.
