Job Summary
Facilitate and enable the Demand Planning process for the assigned Sales Team or Business Unit. Collaborates with Sales Account Managers to ensure that all forecast inputs are entered to produce a Demand Plan. Provides analysis and recommendations to the business unit leaders on target setting and the underlying assumptions. Coordinate the monthly Demand Review as part of the SIOP process.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Monthly, produce a rolling 24-month Forecast incorporating and consolidating the Sales Account Managers’ inputs by customer and product into SAP APO forecasting system. This also includes presentation of results and assumptions to Sales Directors and other leading functions.
- Yearly, support the development of Sales Strategic 5 Year Forecast, Marketing Forecast and Sales Budget Forecast by incorporating and consolidating inputs from Sales, Product Management, and Commercial Business Unit.
- Manage Forecast Review Meetings with Sales Directors and Account Managers independently.
- Consolidate forecast assumption package for monthly Demand Review with Market Units, Supply Chain, Sales, and FP&A to share information and reach a consensus Demand Plan.
- Execute and analyze quarterly projections on a weekly basis and provide Financial Target projections to Commercial Leadership Team including preparation and consolidation of assumption package.
- Execute forecast assumption package for monthly alignment meetings with Global Supply Chain to share information and reach a consensus between Demand and Supply
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis for different functions including Commercial Leadership and presenting data in different cross-functional meetings.
- Subject Matter Expert for Demand Planning Master Data including correction and communication within the organization.
- Collaborate with Digital and Transformation team to maintain system performance and resolve issues, e.g. simplify and improve reporting with Power BI tools
- Train new team members in APO and BI including direction and guidance on analysis.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in business / supply chain management or equivalent experience required
Work Experience
- 5+ years in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Sales or Marketing required
Preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Strong analytical skills
- Very good IT skills (MS office; strong in Excel), SAP-skills (APO, BW)
- Support and contribute in improvement programs and activities towards delivery of the set targets
