Located in Sterling Heights, MI, this part-time position offers the opportunity to provide essential psychological services across grades PreK-12 in a dynamic K-12 school setting. The role focuses on supporting students academic, social, and emotional well-being through collaboration and specialized interventions.
Responsibilities Include
- Conducting psychological evaluations for students across grades PreK-12
- Collaborating closely with teachers to develop effective educational strategies
- Assisting with the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process to address student needs
- Providing behavior support and mental health counseling as needed
- Serving as an itinerant School Psychologist, managing a diverse caseload effectively
Qualifications
- Michigan School Psychologist Certification is required and must be current
- Experience working with students from early childhood through high school (PreK-12)
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, behavior intervention, and counseling
- Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and support teams
- Knowledge of MTSS frameworks and experience applying them in school settings
