This contract position, located in Wilmington, Delaware, is focused on providing behavioral support to students with moderate to severe cognitive challenges. The role requires on-site presence and is designed for the school calendar year, with a start date as soon as possible through June 12, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students with moderate/severe cognitive disabilities.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate behavioral strategies within the classroom setting.
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Provide training and guidance to school personnel and families on behavior management techniques.
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school district policies and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Delaware state licensure; experience in school-based settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral assessment and intervention strategies.
- Ability to work full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
