The Internship Program is designed to empower, educate, and inspire the next generation of talent by providing meaningful hands‑on experience, professional development, and direct exposure to the real impact of our work. Our mission is to create an environment where interns build the skills, confidence, and connections needed to excel in their careers—while contributing to projects that support XiFin’s mission of improving healthcare financial performance.
This is a 10-week structured program beginning on June 15, 2026, and ending August 21, 2026. This will be a part-time (up to 29 hours/week) with the potential to go full-time in the future.
About the role:
You are an inquisitive, organized, and driven college student who demonstrates excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, and you’re eager to gain professional experience within a SaaS organization that plays a critical role in supporting the nation’s medical infrastructure. You’re highly collaborative and comfortable interacting with a wide range of professionals—technical team members, project managers, analysts, and operational leaders—adapting your communication style to each audience with ease.
What does the position pay?
The hourly compensation for this role is $23.00 for undergraduate students and $25.00 for graduate students.
How you will make an impact:
In this role, you’ll:
- Assist the Implementations team with ongoing projects along with onboarding new customers.
- Play a part in the building and configure of new customers in Empower RCM.
- Update billing rules, fee schedules, cross references, test codes and system updates into new customer environments.
- Engage in continuous improvement projects around automating system workflow, data gathering and reporting.
- Utilize Project Management methodologies and strategies.
This is an onsite position at our office in Charleston, SC.

- Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program or higher in Business Administration, Healthcare Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or relevant discipline

What Interns can Expect:
The XiFin Internship Program is a structured 10-week summer experience that offers students the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals in technical, business and operational areas across the organization. Interns participate in department-specific projects while taking part in a series of developmental workshops aimed at improving industry knowledge and skills. As an intern you will have:
