A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in an early childhood school setting serving children aged 3 to 5 years old. This contract role extends through the current school year, with an anticipated start date as soon as possible and continuing until June 10, 2026. The location for this role is in Yamhill County, Oregon.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to young children in an early childhood educational environment
- Utilize teletherapy methods when necessary to deliver effective intervention
- Collaborate with educational staff to support speech and language development goals for children aged 3-5
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress
- Engage with families and caregivers to support communication needs and facilitate carryover of therapy strategies
Required Qualifications
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Experience working with early childhood populations (ages 3-5) in school settings
- Proficiency in teletherapy delivery and in-person speech services
- Knowledge of childhood speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to work full-time hours (40 hours per week)
