A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Issaquah, WA, providing services primarily to secondary students with a focus on both middle school and homebound populations. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 17, 2026, and offers a unique caseload involving direct intervention and specialized support using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies.

Schedule
- Full-time, 1.0 FTE for secondary students
- Monday: 8:30 AM 3:30 PM (homebound students, working with AAC devices, eye-gaze technology, etc.)
- Tuesday through Friday: 7:30 AM 3:30 PM (middle school intervention)
- Caseload split: Four days at middle school, one day working with four homebound students (2 elementary, 2 secondary)
- Approximately 725 minutes of direct service per month for middle school students
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services, including evaluation, treatment, and consultation.
- Work closely with homebound students using AAC technology to support communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to implement individualized education programs.
- Monitor and document student progress to adjust therapy goals and techniques effectively.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure/certification as an SLP
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly secondary level
- Familiarity with AAC devices and eye-gaze technology preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and families
