Position Summary
The HR Assistant / Recruiter supports Medivant Healthcare’s Human Resources function by assisting with end-to-end recruitment activities, benefits administration support, and day-to-day HR operations. This role plays a key part in talent acquisition, employee lifecycle support, HR documentation, and compliance-related activities.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual communication skills are strongly preferred to support effective communication with a diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Support full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and assist with offer coordination
- Maintain recruitment trackers and applicant records
- Support onboarding activities, including new hire documentation and orientation coordination
HR Operations & Employee Support
- Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR systems
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates
- Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and general HR support
- Assist with attendance tracking, leave management, and payroll inputs
Benefits Administration Support
- Assist with employee benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans
- Coordinate benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Support communication with benefits vendors and brokers as needed
- Respond to employee questions regarding benefits and enrollment processes
- Assist with benefits documentation and compliance tracking
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure HR documentation is completed accurately and maintained in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Assist with HR audits, training tracking, and compliance reporting
- Prepare HR MIS reports and maintain Excel-based trackers
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in HR operations and/or recruitment
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and HR documentation
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
