Position Summary:
With direct supervision from a supervisor, the Rx Returns Authorization Specialist provides front-line support and assistance to retail, manufacturing and wholesale clients (via email) regarding their pharmaceutical returns. The incumbent performs detailed, routine clerical work of a client-service and data entry nature, researches information within multiple internal systems and communicates information to other internal departments to meet client needs.
The Specialist provides excellent customer service, remaining calm under stressful situations, while completing revenue generating tasks and protecting the integrity of Inmar's major databases.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Responsible for professionally answering a large volume of incoming client emails and responding with accurate information
- Manage inbound email requests from clients who need to return product; prioritize and complete RA/box label issuance based on manufacturer requirements
- Manage outbound return process for product held in company facilities that needs to be shipped to supplier; work closely with facility managers to ship and track product returns
- Record, research and respond to RA email inquiries from suppliers, as needed
- Request DEA 222 forms from suppliers or third-party processors, as needed
- Contact suppliers to obtain or clarify RA instructions, when needed (for policy changes or recalls)
- Perform daily quality checks on all destroyed product according to manufacturer policies
- Maintain detailed, accurate files and records; enter information into systems correctly and completely
- Work efficiently and calmly in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
- Complete all administrative tasks timely and with a high degree of accuracy
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks that require extensive follow up and communications
- Communicate with other internal teams to fully address all client requests or issues; identify and escalate priority issues to management
- Work collaboratively with internal technical team on data issues, as needed
- Adhere to all team practices and routines

Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent degree required
- 1-3 years of related work experience working in a logistics, manufacturing, trucking or warehousing industry; or an equivalent amount of training and experience required to complete the essential functions/job responsibilities of this position required
- Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Must be fluent in English
