Overview
Responsible for support of Information Technology end user system access, devices, and connectivity within the enterprise computing environment for Contec, Inc.
Responsibilities
- Supports end user IT equipment and systems. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Desktop/laptop imaging and setup
- Desktop/laptop troubleshooting
- Printer setup and troubleshooting
- Software installation and troubleshooting
- Mobile device support and troubleshooting including tablets and mobile phones
- VoIP system support and troubleshooting
- Limited maintenance of Active Directory and Office 365
- Completes requests for support submitted through the IT department ticketing system in a timely manner and documents the actions taken to resolve the request.
- Completes all client hardware and software upgrades, and other projects as assigned from time to time by the IT management.
- Maintains and configures Zebra printers and handheld scanning devices.
- Documents all processes for repeatability and consistency.
- Participates and works within ISO 9001 quality standards guidelines in accordance with Contec’s quality goals.
- Others may be assigned.

Requirements
Associates degree in Information Technology or related fields preferred; or one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of and experience with general PC imaging and troubleshooting, client server and network communication, Microsoft Operating Systems and Office suite, and Active Directory and Group Policy is required.
- A+ certification or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
