Department Overview
The BD Pharmacy Automation Support organization manages remote services and supports BD customers worldwide. The Customer Support Center is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer support experience through consistent and timely issue resolution.
Purpose
The Data Analyst plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across BD’s Services organization. This individual will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing dashboards, and delivering actionable insights to support operational efficiency and critical initiatives. The role requires advanced technical proficiency, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams including Services, Finance, HR, and Operations.
Specific Duties
Analytics And Presentation
- Extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources, including CRM and IVR systems, to support business objectives.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key performance metrics and trends.
- Develop and maintain dynamic headcount models and workforce planning tools that support strategic resourcing decisions across Technical Support and related departments.
- Build and maintain data models to enable accurate forecasting, scenario analysis, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with collaborators to translate business requirements into technical solutions and actionable insights.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems through governance and standardization efforts.
- Provide analytical support for leadership through ad hoc reporting, trend analysis, and KPI monitoring.
- Partner with program managers to evaluate ROI and assess the impact of service transformation initiatives.
- Prepare executive-level reporting materials for operating reviews and strategic planning meetings.
Preferred Skills And Attributes
- Experience with SQL and DAX for data manipulation required
- Experience with Python for automation preferred
- High proficiency with Genesys IVR platform and SalesForce CRM required
- Detail-oriented, pragmatic, and highly organized with the ability to think strategically while accomplishing tactically.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences required
- Microsoft PBi Data Analyst Certification preferred.
Experience Or Equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science preferred; relevant expereince will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics or similar roles required, preferably within a healthcare or services operations environment.
- Solid experience in data modeling, visualization, and harmonizing disparate data sources required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data for senior audiences.
- Ability to self-manage priorities with guidance from Director of Technical Support.
Physical/Mental Requirements
- Must be flexible in working hours, with occasional availability for after hours business needs
- Travel requirements up to 15%.
