Job Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute logistics for digital and virtual events, including webinars, live case broadcasts, and online curricula.
- Ensure technical readiness and smooth delivery of virtual programs in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Manage communications strategy and key performance metrics for the HerniaU online community.
- Monitor engagement trends and implement strategies to grow and retain community members.
- Partner with the Professional Education Program Team to develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with educational objectives.
- Support HerniaU faculty relationships in collaboration with the Professional Education Program Team.
- Develop and manage digital marketing strategies for opt-in lists in collaboration with platform marketing teams.
- Track, analyze, and report on key metrics for digital campaigns and virtual events to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead and mentor junior team members to foster a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative work culture.
- Ensure compliance of programs with HCC guidelines and internal policies.
- Align operations with strategic goals through strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Special projects, as assigned.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in digital program management, digital event planning, and/or digital marketing required, preferably in medical education or life sciences industry.
- Experience with professional medical education platforms and online communities preferred.
- Experience working successfully across regions/geographies preferred
Knowledge And Skills
- Strong understanding of virtual event platforms, digital marketing tools, and analytics.
- Deep understanding of HCC compliance in relation to HCP education.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and webinar tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, cross-regionally, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with building and editing websites preferred (e.g. WordPress)
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheets) preferred.
- Strong people skills - ability to establish and build close working relationships across a highly matrixed organization and with alliance partners.
- Must be able to speak and write English fluently.
