Safety & Facilities Coordinator
Position Summary
The Facilities Coordinator is an energetic and highly motivated individual who is a member of our team. Ideally this person is detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises. The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for accompanying vendors when visiting FFF, cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, breakrooms, warehouse and common areas.
Essential Functions and Duties
- Accompany vendors during site visits and ensure they are signed into the Visitor Management System.
- Perform general cleaning, sanitizing and janitorial duties throughout the building as directed.
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms and breakrooms.
- Collect and remove trash.
- Maintain supplies and keep janitorial storage clean and organized.
- Clean baseboards and glass as needed.
- Handles emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.
- Adheres specifically to all company policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations, and laws.

- Comply with the policies and procedures stated in the Injury and Illness Prevention Program by always working in a safe manner and immediately reporting any injury, safety hazard, or program violation.
- Ensure conduct is consistent with all Compliance Program Policies and procedures when engaging in any activity on behalf of the company. Immediately report any concerns or violations.

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Preferred Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Required Knowledge:
- General knowledge cleaning multiple surfaces and understanding of cleaning products and the proper usage.
Preferred Knowledge:
- Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
Required Experience:
- At least two (2) years of janitorial experience
Preferred Experience:
- Five (5) years of janitorial experience
Required Skills:
- Ability to manage time efficiently and to work with minimal supervision as well as within a team.
- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret written information, ability to write clear statements, ability to communicate orally.
- Ability to follow directions from a supervisor.
- Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments.
- Ability to do physical work and operate equipment normally found in janitorial operations.
- Ability to observe safety and security procedures and comply with policies.
- Sound decision-making abilities

- Must have strong organizational skills
- Must be able to interact with staff and visitors while remaining professional, polite, and courteous.
Physical requirements
Vision, hearing, speech, movements requiring the use of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. The employee occasionally lifts to 20 lbs. and occasionally kneels and bends. Must have the ability to travel occasionally. Working condition include normal office and warehouse setting.

Learning, thinking, concentration and the ability to work under pressure, particularly during busy times. Must be able to pay close attention to detail and be able to work as a member of a team to ensure excellent customer service. Must have the ability to interact effectively with co-workers and customers, and exercise self-control and diplomacy in customer and employee relations’ situations. Must have the ability to exercise discretion as well as appropriate judgments when necessary. Must be proactive in finding solutions.
