Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Summary
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining Power BI reporting and analytics solutions that support business decision-making. This role partners closely with the Enterprise Data & Solutions Architect to implement standardized data models, metrics, and reporting frameworks.
The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Power BI and SQL, comfortable supporting business stakeholders, and focused on delivering accurate, automated, and scalable reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Power BI & Reporting
•Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets
•Implement DAX measures and calculations aligned to defined business logic
•Support weekly and monthly reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
•Optimize report performance and usability
Data Modeling & SQL
•Build and maintain SQL views to support reporting needs
•Consume and extend enterprise semantic models as defined by architecture
•Partner with the Enterprise Data & Solutions Architect on data design standards
Business Support
•Respond to business-facing analytics and reporting requests
•Translate business questions into clear Power BI visualizations
•Support finance, operations, and leadership reporting needs
Automation & Process Improvement
•Automate Excel-based and manual reporting workflows where appropriate
•Identify opportunities to reduce recurring manual reporting effort
•Improve documentation and repeatability of reporting processes
Data Quality & Validation
•Validate data accuracy across systems and reports
•Investigate discrepancies and escalate root causes
•Support reconciliation between reporting and source systems
Required Qualifications
Technical
•3–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics
•Strong experience with Power BI (reports, datasets, DAX)
•Solid SQL skills for reporting and analysis
•Advanced Excel skills, including automation
Professional
•Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
•Ability to work with business stakeholders to gather requirements
•Clear written and verbal communication skills
•Comfortable working in a structured, architect-led environment
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
• Work an agreed-upon standard schedule
• Additional hours as required by operational needs
TRAVEL
• Occasional travel to domestic Trilogy facilities (less than 10%)
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license
• Must meet company insurability requirements
