Pharmacists Mutual Insurance Group has an opening for a Digital Marketing Intern. This role will support the organization’s digital marketing efforts with a focus on HubSpot CRM, email marketing, automation, social media, and website updates. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy college student who is eager to learn, works well independently, and is interested in gaining hands-on experience in digital marketing, inbound strategy, and content creation.
Essential Functions
Essential functions may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Learn to build and maintain segmented contact lists in HubSpot.
- Assist with updating CRM records and supporting ongoing data quality efforts.
- Observe and help monitor lead activity while learning how to track customer.
- Support the creation, testing, and optimization of automated workflows, and identify improvements.
- Assist with A/B testing efforts and learn to evaluate campaign performance metrics.
- Support updates to email templates and learn best practices for content layout and design.
- Help update website pages, landing pages, forms, and CTAs within HubSpot CMS.
- Support basic SEO improvements.
- Assist in drafting social media content, scheduling posts, and research industry trends to support content planning.
- Help compile marketing performance reports using HubSpot, Google Analytics, and social media insights.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Knowledge of HubSpot CRM/Marketing Hub.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail.
- Open to learning new technology and analytics.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, especially LinkedIn and Meta.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
Qualifications
Experience and Education Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or other related degree.
- Completion of at least 2 years of college coursework.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HubSpot, Canva, Adobe, or website builders is a plus.
- Completion of junior year college coursework or higher (including senior level students, recent graduates, or graduate students).
