The assignment runs from ASAP through May 22, 2026, offering 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, following the school calendar with a 30-minute unpaid lunch daily. The focus is primarily on elementary schools located on the west bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite speech-language pathology services to students across assigned schools
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district requirements
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Louisiana
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Ability to complete district-mandated drug screening and fingerprinting promptly
- Experience working in school settings is highly desirable
