Job Description
Reports to: Facility Manager or Transportation Manager
Classification: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY
The Driver plays a critical role in the success of our operations. This individual is responsible for safely and efficiently completing customer collection routes that may vary by schedule and deadline. The position requires regular interaction with customers, employees, senior management, and regulatory representatives. Professionalism, discretion, and strict adherence to all safety and compliance regulations are essential.
Drivers are equipped with convertible hand trucks to safely transport heavier or multiple containers from customer locations to company vehicles.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operate vehicles in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner
• Adhere to all company safety and infection control protocols
• Perform and document pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Enter service information into Navusoft using company-issued phone
• Load and unload trucks/trailers; ensure loads are properly secured
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times
• Create and affix labels using handheld printers
• Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling devices
• Maintain a clean vehicle interior
• Comply with all DOH and DOT regulations
• Pull and load supplies for next-day service
• Weigh containers and record weights in the system
• Operate shredding, baling, and industrial washing equipment
• Perform daily sanitation procedures
• Follow all traffic laws and company driving standards
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• No DUI/DWI convictions in the past 7 years
• Ability to complete all DOT and company-required training
• Ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing
• Strong customer service skills with customers, colleagues, and regulators
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs
• Ability to learn new tasks, software, and protocols efficiently
• Must meet all DOT and licensing requirements (Class A or Class B)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Medical Examiner’s Card (MEC)
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
• Work an agreed-upon standard schedule
• Additional hours as required by operational needs
TRAVEL
• Occasional travel to domestic Trilogy facilities (less than 10%)
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license
• Must meet company insurability requirements

• Walk extended distances as required
• Maintain focus and accuracy when entering or analyzing data
