SUMMARY:
Works closely with engineers, surveyor, Energy Team Supervisor and client teams to ensure accurate and precise measurements for various projects. Must be able to deal with meeting deadlines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinates and schedules project assignments based on deadlines
- Confirms and plans projects based on client statement of work.
- Prepares and reviews survey plans, legal descriptions, exhibits, and other documents that may be required by clients, Pace staff, and/or regulatory agencies.
- Ensures all surveys comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards as applicable.
- Follows all quality control measures to verify the accuracy and completeness of data.
- Tracks and maintains organized and detailed records of project documents, field information, and notes, as well as survey computations.
- Provides excellent communication with clients, staff, and agencies as to project scope, budget, and time frame to promote exceptional service and professionalism.
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Education and Experience:
- Education in GIS, Geology, Geography, Surveying or Engineering or related discipline preferred.
- 2+ years of AutoCAD or IntelliCAD experience, required
- GIS Certification, preferred
- Familiar with Google Earth
- Strong attention to detail as well as good writtena nd verbal communication and effective listening skills with ability to follow instructions. Ability to perform under pressure.
Required Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
Required Knowledge:
- Principles and practice of geometric, topographic, or boundary surveying.
- Computer applications and systems related to the work, such as AutoCAD and ArcMap.
- Basice Microsoft skills with focus on Excel

Work is performed 75% in office settings. Some field work may be necessary.
