Role Description
As Lead Product Software Engineer, you’ll own the long-term technical vision and ensure architectural decisions align with product strategy, scalability, performance, cost efficiency, and security standards. You’ll influence technical direction across multiple teams, build consensus, and guide decision-making using clear communication and data-driven tradeoffs.

- Provide architectural leadership across teams and integration points
- Champion modern engineering practices and deliver high-quality solutions
- Lead an Agile engineering team supporting mission-critical 24/7/365 cloud-based applications
- Guide the design, development, and delivery of scalable SaaS applications using Microsoft technologies
- Collaborate closely with Product Management to ensure engineering decisions drive measurable customer outcomes
- Mentor engineers and promote a high-performing, supportive culture
- Optimize developer experience and strengthen CI/CD workflows
- Govern engineering standards and reusable components
- Collaborate with adjacent product and platform teams
- Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and best practices
- Apply Agile and SAFe practices for predictable delivery
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 5+ years of professional .NET/C# development experience
- Experience with modern web technologies (.NET Core, ASP.NET Web API/MVC, JavaScript, JSON, RESTful services)
- 3+ years building customer-facing applications
- Frontend framework experience (React or Angular)
- Proficiency in software architecture principles (OOP, SOLID, microservices)
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services
- Experience with modernization and container-based hosting
- Quality-first engineering mindset and DevOps practices
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in the Tax and Accounting domain (preferred)
