What You Get To Do
The Manager, Software Delivery is responsible for overseeing the engineering, coordinating and managing the development, testing, and delivery of software solutions within the organization. This role ensures that projects meet quality standards, timelines, and customer requirements. The Manager will oversee day-to-day activities of the software team, support process improvements, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

- Manage and support the software engineering and testing teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Coordinate project schedules, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with product management, operations, and project teams to define requirements and priorities.
- Implement and maintain best practices for software development and testing, including CI/CD processes.
- Monitor project progress, quality metrics, and team performance; escalate issues as needed.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols, regulatory standards, and company guidelines.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities for team members to foster growth and engagement.
- Support innovation and continuous improvement in software delivery processes.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation, proposals, and responses to customer inquiries.
- Act as a technical liaison during customer meetings or demonstrations when required.
- Communicate project status, risks, and key metrics to leadership in a timely and transparent manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
- 5+ years of experience in software development or delivery, preferably in material handling, automation, or intralogistics.
- 2+ years of experience managing a team or leading projects.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Working Conditions and Environment:
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Travel required up to 15%
- Passport or ability to obtain passport
- Professional office etiquette is required at all times
- Ability to travel by air both domestically (US) and internationally (primarily to Austria and other parts of Europe as well as Canada)
- Physical requirements: sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, climbing a ladder, speaking, visual acuity, finger dexterity, listening, reaching at arm’s length, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
