Job Summary
We are seeking a
Director, Global Real Estate Transactions to lead complex real estate activities across a global corporate portfolio. This role partners with business leaders, finance, facilities, engineering, and cross functional teams to execute real estate strategies that support business growth, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
The Director will oversee real estate transactions across 120+ locations in more than 20 countries for a multinational organization. Responsibilities include leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, site selection, incentive negotiations, and management of external brokerage partners. This role serves as a key advisor to senior leadership and plays a central role in shaping the company’s global real estate strategy.
This position will work remote, from a home office located in the USA.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic real estate advisor to business and functional leaders, supporting operational and long term planning.
- Develop and implement global real estate guidelines to ensure consistent, compliant, and value driven acquisition, disposition, and leasing practices.
- Lead lease negotiations, renewals, and amendments, and resolve real estate related issues.
- Oversee site selection strategy, market evaluations, and location analysis; present recommendations to leadership.
- Lead negotiations of offers and counteroffers to optimize value and mitigate risk.
- Partner with Legal on non standard or complex contractual terms.
- Secure local, state, and federal incentives for qualifying real estate projects and transactions.
- Manage owned real estate assets and maintain accurate portfolio and transaction data.
- Support real estate aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.
- Collaborate with facilities and business leaders on space planning, utilization, and long term capital requirements.
- Manage relationships with external brokers and service providers, including performance evaluation against defined KPIs.
- Monitor global real estate market trends, service provider capabilities, and emerging technologies.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procurement processes in collaboration with Finance, Legal, and Procurement.
- Track transaction performance, costs, and savings; provide reporting and insights to senior leadership.
Education
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field required
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred
Experience
- 10+ years of commercial real estate experience in a corporate environment
- Experience supporting multinational and multi site portfolios strongly preferred
- Proven success leading complex negotiations and large scale real estate transactions
- Experience with site selection, market analysis, and portfolio strategy
- Experience in life sciences or other highly regulated industries is a plus

Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is $160K - 200K USD annually. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
