POSITION SUMMARY
The Inventory Control Specialist II is responsible for accurately maintaining all on vendor recalls and the disposition of applicable inventory damages. Manages and maintains quarantine room. Conducts frequent spot and partial audit of physical inventory.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Process and execute product recalls in accordance with FDA, DEA, state and company requirements.
• Provide inventory reports to procurement and inventory control supervisor.
· Identify, quarantine, reconcile, and document recalled inventory by lot, expirations, and quantity.
• Coordinate and oversee the destruction of expired, damaged, recalled, or nonconforming products.
· Maintain accurate inventory transactions and records within warehouse and quality systems.
· Ensure proper approvals, chain-of-custody, and documentation for all destruction activities, including control substances.
• Communicate and collaborate with Quality, Operations, and external vendors to complete recalls and destruction activities.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and security standards, support audits and inspections.
• Follow all safety procedures and report discrepancies, compliance risks, or incidents promptly.
· Assists with periodic physical inventory audits.
· Performs other related duties/functions as requested.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Three+ years’ experience in inventory Control along with computerized inventory systems required.
Experience using RF Gun.
Requirements/Qualifications: Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively. Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust.
Skills: Presentation skills, motivating others, foster teamwork, customer service, emphasizing excellence. In addition, experience in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Strong time management, organizational, and taking initiative.
