Make an Impact with Healthcare Technology Jobs That Matter The Manager, Warehouse & Logistics, is responsible for the daily oversight and coordination of transportation logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory control. This role ensures the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement and storage of goods, supporting production schedules and customer delivery requirements. The manager supervises warehouse personnel and directly oversees the Traffic Planner and Materials Specialist. Responsibilities include managing inbound and outbound freight, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining accurate inventory records, and optimizing warehouse layout and labor planning. The role requires close collaboration with internal departments such as Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Project Management and Customer Service to resolve logistics challenges and maintain operational continuity. The Manager, Warehouse & Logistics also leads continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and inventory functions to enhance service levels and operational efficiency.

- Manage inbound and outbound transportation activities, including domestic and international freight coordination.
- Ensure transportation providers meet delivery schedules and comply with customs and hazardous materials regulations.
- Oversee export documentation, freight cost monitoring, and invoice reconciliation.
- Supervise warehouse operations including receiving, handling, packaging, storing, and shipping of goods.
- Lead and support the cycle count and bin audit programs to maintain and improve inventory accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in material movements and inventory transactions.
- Maintain inventory data integrity in SAP ERP and ensure timely updates to support planning and production.
- Ensure safe operation of warehouse equipment and compliance with safety policies.
- Train and certify warehouse staff in equipment use, safety procedures, and operational standards.
- Evaluate and improve warehouse layout, equipment, and processes to support operational efficiency.
- Manage labor planning and resource allocation to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, and Customer Service teams to resolve logistics and inventory issues.
- Act as point of contact for transportation service providers and off-site warehouse services.
- Support CAPEX planning and execution for warehouse improvements.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities to direct reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Application Requirements
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor’s Degree in business management or related field or equivalent years of experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience working in a warehouse and distribution environment, including receiving, storing, distribution, transportation and logistics
- Minimum of three years of experience in a supervisory or other type of leadership position.
- Knowledge of transportation systems and requirements including freight classifications, bills of lading, export shipment documentation, Hazardous Material Communications, federal transportation regulations, material handling equipment operation and maintenance, etc.
- General business knowledge including inventory control and basic accounting, labor utilization and costing, warehousing practices & procedures.
Desirable, but not Essential:
- College degree,, and/or continuing education.
- APICS or other related trade certification.
Salary range for this position is $85,000 - $105,000, plus bonus. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skillset. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical / dental / vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, disability, 401k matching (up to 8%).
