Position Overview
The Statistical Programmer Analyst/ Data Analyst II will support real-world evidence (RWE), health economics, business analytics, and digital health initiatives related to Abbott medical devices. This role works closely with Clinical Scientists and cross-functional study teams to support study design, statistical analysis, and data-driven insights using real-world healthcare data.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to study methods and Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) in collaboration with Clinical Scientists and study teams.
- Execute analytics tasks using real-world data with limited supervision.
- Perform data preparation, data quality checks, analysis, and reporting.
- Develop and troubleshoot programs using SAS, R, Python, or similar tools.
- Validate programs, analysis datasets, and results to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in interpretation and presentation of results through tables, figures, and written reports.
- Support preparation of methodology summaries and analytical documentation.
- Work with diverse data sources, including clinical trial data, electronic health records (EHR), device-generated data, and insurance claims data.
- Review and summarize relevant background materials, clinical study publications, and scientific literature.
- Maintain a strong scientific and analytical mindset across all project work.
