This opportunity seeks a dedicated professional to provide comprehensive psychological services within a school setting, supporting students across elementary (K-5) and high school (9-12) grade levels. The role involves collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to promote students academic, social, and emotional success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention services addressing behavioral, social, and emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop strategies that support student learning and well-being.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide mental health initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality guidelines.
Qualifications And Experience
- Valid credential or license as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with students in grades K-5 and 9-12.
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, interventions, and federal/state special education laws.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
