Overview
This position supports ongoing development and maintenance of software for Windows‑based platforms. The engineer will work across the full software development lifecycle, contribute to testing and verification, support on‑market troubleshooting, and ensure alignment with quality system requirements. Candidate must be comfortable working through all phases of the SDLC. Strong emphasis on problem‑solving, debugging, and supporting on‑market systems.
UML knowledge is mandatory, not optional. Manager is open to candidates with any of the three core languages, but they must be strong in at least one.
Top Priorities
- 2–5 years of hands‑on software development experience.
- Must be proficient in at least one: C++, Python, or NodeJS.
- Strong experience developing on Windows platforms.
- Ability to create test strategies, perform regression analysis, and support verification.
- Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis capabilities.
- Proven use of UML and object‑oriented design methodologies.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years in a team‑oriented software engineering environment.
- Experience covering the full SDLC: requirements → design → implementation → verification.
- Ability to develop, test, and integrate software using modern tools.
- Experience with Windows‑targeted application development.
- Familiarity with quality system requirements.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in regulated / quality‑driven environments.
- Background in integration testing, verification, or regression testing.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred but not required).
Education
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field. (Preferred: M.S. in similar discipline)
