Job Summary And Qualifications
This Director of Financial Analytics position is responsible for assisting in the development and evolution of the overall strategy for Resource Optimization and Innovation (Roi) operations in this critical area of finance, analytics, and reporting. This includes assisting in the preparation and reporting of financial information related to supply management and performance which leads to measurement of and execution against operational standards and expectations supporting both the ROi business and Mercy Health’s end-to-end supply chain. The Director of Financial Analytics will also assist key Senior Executive team members with evaluating key metrics, reviewing revenue completeness, financial analysis, supply chain analytics, and processes and controls regarding contract implementation. This position will work closely with the Sr. Executive Director, Mercy’s Executive Directors and other key strategic business units within the organization.
What you will do in this role:
- Prepares both routine and ad hoc detailed analytical reviews and reports.
- Prepares complex pro forma financial analyses and operational expense models.
- Assists in the Finance operational process decisions and any automation for ROi.
- Successfully deliver by developing action plans, setting objectives, mitigating risk appropriately, leading timely resolution of issues and following through for results.
- Updating management on progress, risks, etc. and facilitating decisions and conversations with a diverse set of stakeholders and users at multiple levels in the organization.
- Coordinate people and processes to ensure financial impacting projects are delivered on time and meet desired results
- Assists with setting the strategy for internal customer revenue and profitability reporting.
- Works directly with internal and external customers to facilitate continued development of analytical reporting needs.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills applied to drive trust and performance across the team and other areas of the organization.
- Successfully deliver by developing action plans, setting objectives, mitigating risk appropriately, leading timely resolution of issues and following through for results.
- Updating management on progress, risks etc. and facilitating decisions and conversations with a diverse set of stakeholders and users at multiple levels in the organization.
- Translate objectives into project planning priorities, create and manage work plans and timelines for multiple projects. Responsible to be a change agent to advocate for new processes, strategies, and contract optimization.
- Oversees and manages cross functional teams.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” and “Mission and Value Statement.”
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree, required
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in accounting/management experience, required
