A part-time School Psychologist position is available from ASAP through May 22, 2026, supporting K-12 students in Denton, TX. This onsite role serves two elementary schools, providing essential psychological services within an engaging educational environment. The position involves a 20-hour workweek, with potential flexibility for full-time hours upon request.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to support student learning and development
- Participate in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings to provide expert guidance on student needs and interventions
- Prepare detailed reports based on assessments and evaluations
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support students social-emotional well-being through targeted interventions and recommendations
Qualifications And Experience
- Current Texas Psychologist License is required
- Experience working in K-12 school settings is preferred
- Strong skills in administering and interpreting psychological assessments
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with school teams and families
- Ability to manage multiple caseload responsibilities effectively
