A K-12 school in Killeen, TX is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join their team on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY). Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop intervention strategies
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students
- Assist with the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to behavioral and educational planning
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school and state regulations
Qualifications
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, educational psychology, and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a school environment
- Familiarity with state and federal special education laws is preferred
